This custom residence, built by Odenwald Construction Company, is situated off Nacimiento Lake Drive on a hilltop lot in the region west of Paso Robles, California. The project worked to capture the views of the oak covered rolling hillsides through a sweeping circular exterior wall line that provided clear open visibility from the kitchen and main living areas to the panoramic exterior.

The original project design proposed a compression ring style cut and stack roof system to support the semi-curved roof over the circular exterior wall. In order to provide a more affordable roof solution with identical finished architectural results, plated trusses were incorporated into the project, saving the homeowners a significant construction expense.
